The Church of Son Severa was designed by architect Joan Rubio in 1905. The student of the well-known Antonio Gaudi designed this gem in the beautiful neo-Gothic style.
But the most striking thing is that the church was never completed due to financing problems. Therefore, it has no roof, which gives the whole thing even more charm and individuality.
The church is now not only the symbol of Son Servera, but has also become a popular place for open-air events. GOOD TO KNOW Basically, there are mostly Catholic churches here on the island.
However, if you belong to the Protestant faith, the Protestant parish office also has the right to use the churches on Mallorca as far as possible. So even then you can get married in almost every church on the island.
