Although the monastery was built in 1679, more and more extensions have been added over the years. It is best known, however, for the Madonna "Mare de Déu de la Victòria" which is worshiped there.
According to legend, she was stolen by pirates, but always returned to the church. Today the monastery is no longer inhabited, but you can still stay in the simple rooms. The church enchants with its beautiful interior and baroque altar with the statue of the Madonna. Attached to the monastery are old stables and a botanical garden, as well as a restaurant and small shops.
